About this product
Shelving Standard from MOEBE is a modular and freestanding shelving system, designed by MOEBE co-founder Anders Thams. The system is based on an ingenious wedge construction, where the shelves – with an MDF core and a surface of either oiled oak veneer, black-stained oak veneer, or white PU paint – are held in place by solid oak wedges against powder-coated steel legs. This craftsmanship allows the shelves to be placed at any height without the use of glue, screws, or welding, emphasizing solid quality and timeless aesthetics. Its understated elegance and simple form make it a piece of furniture that lasts for generations.
The shelving system works beautifully in many rooms of the home, from the living room and office to a child's room or hallway, where it creates a light and airy framework for storage. Its versatility allows you to personalize your interior, and it can be infinitely expanded in both width and height. Combine it with Nordic textiles and soft earth tones to highlight the natural warmth of the oak and create a harmonious expression in the room.

- Care instructions: Remove dust with a damp cloth. Spills should be removed immediately. Minor stains can be gently rubbed with sandpaper (grit 400) and re-oiled. Dry stains should be treated with pigment-free furniture oil. Protect clothing for the first 2-3 days after unpacking.
