The Rar Armchair, designed by Simon Legald for Normann Copenhagen, embodies a quiet elegance and a commitment to enduring design. It represents a piece crafted to last, reflecting the Danish tradition of furniture that can be passed down through generations.
The internal frame is robustly constructed from pine and particle board, reinforced with additional internal wood, and then generously upholstered with soft PU foam. You can choose between the sophisticated Re-Born textile in dark grey, the subtle Venezia in off-white, or the rich Omaha leather in cognac. The slender, powder-coated steel legs provide an elegant lift, giving the armchair a light, almost floating presence. The carefully considered meeting of armrests and backrest frames the flat surfaces, lending the design a calm and timeless character.
