The Rime Pendant Lamp, designed by Gabriella Lenke and Mattias Ståhlbom of TAF Studio for Muuto, finds its inspiration in the soft, organic silhouette of an acorn. The shade of the Rime lamp is meticulously mouth-blown from sandblasted glass, creating a distinctive semi-transparent surface. This process results in a frosted, dewy appearance, reminiscent of hoarfrost. The pendant tube and top are crafted from powder-coated aluminum, available in a refined palette of Black, White, Grey, Orange, and Deep Red.
