The Step By Step Ladder is a design by Jonas Herman of Herman Studio for Form & Refine, conceived as a testament to Danish craftsmanship and the enduring appeal of natural materials. This piece embodies the Nordic design philosophy of creating functional objects that age gracefully and can be passed down through generations.

Crafted from solid, FSC-certified European oak, the ladder is finished with a natural oil that enhances the wood's inherent grain and offers a soft tactility. Its robust construction is fortified by an ultra-strong flagline, which not only prevents accidental collapse but also protects walls when the ladder is stored. The deep top step ensures stability and comfort, while a prominent wooden bar at the apex provides additional balance and completes its understated aesthetic.

This versatile ladder finds its place in various settings, from the kitchen where it provides access to high cabinets, to the living room where it can elegantly display books or small plants. An included wooden hook allows it to be hung on a wall, transforming it into a sculptural element that adds both function and visual interest to your home.
