Designed by Simon Legald for Normann Copenhagen, the Bit Barstool 65 cm is a contemporary piece rooted in the enduring Danish tradition of crafting furniture that lasts. The stool is primarily crafted from up to 95% recycled industrial plastic (LDPE), supplemented with new PE, embodying a mindful approach to materials. Its sturdy foundation is provided by load-bearing aluminium tubing and a stainless steel base plate. An innovative process of melting small plastic pieces creates its distinctive, pixel-like surface, where variations in colour and pattern make each individual barstool unique.
