Bruunmunch was founded in 2008 by Henrik J. Bruun and Jacob S. Munch, who share a passion for Danish design heritage, honest craftsmanship and materials that develop character over the years. The philosophy behind the brand is “Furniture for Life” – furniture that is not just meant to look good, but to be part of everyday life. That is why every design features simple lines, soft comfort and a construction built to last: solid wood, leather and textiles made from FSC®-certified wood and Oeko-Tex®-approved fabrics, crafted by experienced artisans. The wooden furniture has its roots on the west coast of Jutland near Esbjerg, where the first workshops were situated by the Wadden Sea. The result is timeless collections such as the PLAYdinner tables, the PLAYchair and the sculptural Lobster Chair – furniture that suits both a new home and one that has been furnished over many years.
