Design For The People – DFTP for short – is a Danish lighting company based in Aalborg. The name is also a promise: good Danish lighting design should be easy to spot and affordable. Every lamp is designed by Danish designers with a single focus – good light. The range spans from pendant and table lamps to wall, ceiling and floor lamps, with collections such as Takai, Align and MIB 6 proving to be perennial favourites. The philosophy is Nordic minimalism using reliable materials: well-thought-out design that celebrates materials, forms and details, combined with classic aesthetics and sustainable solutions.
